Job Description

Our client in the financial space is seeking a Social Media Manager to help strategize, plan, execute and monitor the their social presence and serve as the go-to consultant for their clients across Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion social media support, be the voice of the brand
  • Implement best practices to help position as an industry leader in social media
  • Create, maintain and execute corporate social media content, calendar and campaigns
  • Build regular social performance reports, modifying content and plans accordingly
  • Act as ambassador and custodian of the brand
  • Actively keep a pulse on social media trends and best practices including competitive landscape
  • Make recommendations on which audiences, formats, and platforms we should explore to maximize our reach
  • Become an expert on industry regulations to social media and digital marketing
  • Assist in the establishment of department procedures, implementation and ongoing review of those procedures, striving to create efficiencies

Requirements:

  • University degree or diploma in Social Media or Digital Marketing
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience planning, creating, implementing and measuring brand appropriate social media campaigns
  • Social Media Expert on Linkedin, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong writing and presentation ability
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs and rapidly growing company
  • Reliable, strong work ethic
  • Creative collaborator but able to hit-the-ground running, and work independently as needed
  • Excellent attitude and committed to providing extraordinary service
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
